Christian Fanning of Eastern Washington Football has been blessed with considerable athletic skills. He is an outstanding place kicker who has great accuracy, and is also strong on his kickoffs.

But while he possesses great natural talent, Christian Fanning of Eastern Washington Football has worked hard to develop his skills. He had great coaching when he was a student at Cathedral Catholic High School in his hometown of San Diego, California. But he got additional great coaching through his participation in The Kicking System, a football and soccer kicking academybased in San Diego that provides football and soccer kicking services to athletes across the country.

Christian Fanning of Eastern Washington Football spent several years working closely with TKS coaches and, in particular during 2012, which was his junior year at Cathedral Catholic. Christian Fanning of Eastern Washington Football had already demonstrated great abilities as a kicker and his coaches were sure he was destined for greater things. Because of that, the TKS staffers said they were honored to be working with him again.“Christian, who has been working on his field goals from the ground, hit a few 50 yard kicks,” one of the coaches said in describing that day. “Still working on his overall contact, we proceeded to work on [the] depth of his plant foot, [the] angle of his kicking foot, and staying more straight up to keep his hips in line and square.

Christian Fanning of Eastern Washington Football has evolved into a much better kicker in the two years since that day, and he is confident he can take it to the next level. His goal, he says, is to become the starting placekicker and kickoff specialist for the Eagles.
